Why It’s Important to Look Forward Not Backward When Seeking to Become the Greatest Version of You …

Changing

Too often, therapy dwells on your past rather than on where you’re going.

Now don’t get me wrong, therapy can help you feel good about where you are and give you some understanding of your past patterns.

But to become the greatest version of you, you need more than to just understand the past.

You need to gain an understanding of the patterns and equations that were created in the past and that which continue to govern your life.

Change the patterns and equations, change your life.

And the great news is that this is not as hard to do as one might think.

Most people believe that change is a difficult process and a lengthy process.

They believe it is hard to make even minute changes.

This is old-pattern thinking.

Change can happen in an instant.

Either you start doing something that you want to do or you stop doing something that you no longer want to do. That’s it!

Everything else is clutter and noise.

What you need to do is learn how to cut to the place where change happens and implement what you want instantly.

It is possible!

To learn more about how to change your life and become the greatest version of you, check out our Live Life by Design Course!

I agree. We do look forward, not backward, in anything we do…walking, running, driving. We look backward only when we are going that way.
    Or,
if our past, is still being lived in the present; then, yes, if we don’t look back, recognizing what needs to be changed, presently, then, the trajectory of a life, so spent, may find it’s past, much shortened, then, ever expected… into a future, quickly becoming old.
What reason has a life, having no purpose, without the newness of life to live? Do not dead branches fall to the ground, the same way?
